Heritage Edition Sheepskin G-1 Jacket

Our Heritage Edition G-1 flight jacket is constructed from 100% premium sheepskin leather and finished with a removable genuine shearling fur collar. Built to honor the jackets historically issued to U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps aircrews, this jacket faithfully reproduces the details that defined the original G-1.

Key features include a proper bi-swing back for unrestricted movement, a detachable shearling collar, and a full wind flap stamped with the correct perforated “USN” marking. The jacket also incorporates the historically accurate button-closure utility pocket on the wearer’s left side—an often-overlooked detail that sets this piece apart from modern reproductions.

Available in both standard and long sizing, with custom tailoring options offered for those seeking a precise, flight-correct fit.

Fit & Sizing

• Standard U.S. sizing. Our jackets are cut with 6” of room in the chest. (i.e. a size 42 is cut 48”)
• For a roomier, modern fit, order one size up
• Long sizes add 2” in length
