“Glamorous Glennis” Bell X-1 T-shirt

In honor of the man who gave that ol' Mach demon a run for it's money, we present this Chuck Yeager X-1 technical drawing t-shirt. On the front is the X-1's nose art, famously named after Chuck's wife Glennis, who used to make Chuck chase her on horseback through the Mojave desert. In fact, Yeager broke his ribs the night of October 13th chasing her, and broke the sound barrier with fractured ribs! Chuck's good friend and engineer, Jack Ridley, had to cut off a broom handle so Yeager could lock the X-1's door shut! Talk about brave!
